BassBuds are also supporting Birmingham Children’s Hospital; after visiting them to deliver gifts and turn on their Christmas lights earlier this week, we have arranged for some of the patients to come to the show to meet the celebrities, and enjoy the fun and entertainment at the NEC.  We are also donating 15% of profits to the charity.

As if all that isn’t enough, we are running the competition to trump all competitions!  To celebrate our time at Clothes Show Live, we are also offering our customers the chance to win the ultimate Christmas gift – a pair of LIMITED EDITION 24 Carat Gold plated BassBuds, complete with our signature SWAROVSKI crystals.  These are not available anywhere to buy, and only a handful have ever been made… so don’t miss out!  Visit us on our stand LX120 to enter.

We are looking forward to meeting you all!

BassBuds support Birmingham Children’s Hospital

BassBuds | December 3, 2013

Here at BassBuds, we are excited to be working with Birmingham Children’s Hospital.  With over 240,000 patient visits from all over the UK, we thought this was the perfect charity to support and really make a positive difference this Christmas, and beyond.

Birmingham is an important place for the brand.  The business was first established by Founder and CEO Steven Beckford back in 2007.  First beginning as a bedroom brand in Birmingham, Electrobox has successfully developed and marketed ground-breaking electrical goods since.  Beckford was joined in summer 2012 by Clint Ippoma; and together they formed BassBuds, a subsidiary of Electrobox, to fill a gap in the market for fashion focused technology.

The company officially launched in March 2013, and has now grown to a team that stretches across two buzzing UK cities, including Birmingham and London. This Christmas, we wanted to give something back to the community that saw the very beginning.

We will be showcasing at Clothes Show Live from 6th-10th December, and 15% of profits will be donated to Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

BassBuds arranged for celebrity guests to visit the hospital last night, to switch on their Christmas lights, meet the children and deliver gifts on the teenage Cancer ward.  BassBuds leading supporter Lisa Maffia travelled from London to make the visit, and Joseph Whelan was also there to meet the children and sing some carols.

Paige Taylor, one of Birmingham Children’s Hospital’s cancer patients on the road to recovery, was there to turn on the lights with both Lisa and Joseph before being interviewed by BBC MIDLANDS TODAY.

On the ward, it was fantastic to meet with the children – they seemed excited to have us; it was a very inspirational trip.  Cheyenne ali-Moulder (below) is aged 7, and he was quick to tell us that he cannot wait to listen to a match commentary from his favourite football team Birmingham City on his new BassBoomz!

We delivered some Christmas cheer and gifts to all of the children on the ward.

We hope everyone at Birmingham Children’s Hospital enjoyed our visit, and that they all have a very Merry Christmas…
