Musicalize

The musicalize crew hooked up us with tickets once again, for one of their most exciting show to date. Located at the famous Koko Theatre in Camden, the queue was endless by 7pm. The place was ram packed The supporting guests including UK talent Rasharn Powell, songstress Tanika and X Factor’s favourite group Rough Copy.

The trio serenaded with rnb hits ‘Same Formula’, ‘Street Love’ and ‘3 words’.

Rough Copy

We were seated in the balcony VIP. It was announced to be sold out on Twitter just before Omarion due on stage. DJ Melody Kane was spinning on the decks and had the crowd swaying. Anticipation was certainly in the air and the crowd seemed to be pleading for Omarion to grace the stage.

Omari

He entered the stage with ‘Hello London’  as the growing crowd screamed. One thing we do know is that Omari still has it. For a 30yr old, he looked younger than ever, sporting a red banner and a matching plaid bape shirt. He sang hits included, Entourage, O and most recent ‘Post To Be’.

We can’t wait for the next one!

Acoustic Afternoon is back again this Sunday with a full line up of talent at Boxpark Shoreditch.

Hosted by London’s local funny man Craig Mitch, who will be introducing 4 individual acts to the stage for 3 hours of musical forte and good vibes. To make it even more special, BassBuds are sponsoring the event and are giving you the opportunity to win a snazzy pair of BassBuds headphones & a portable BassBoomz speaker!
The event itself is FREE so with the sun set to shine this weekend, there’s no excuse not to be there!

Tom Prior, who sold out his headline show just last week, will be bringing his smooth tones to Boxpark on Sunday.
You can expect nothing but goose bumps and shivers when this gentleman starts to sing.
Watch Tom’s Reload Sessions here:

Cardiff lass Rebecca James has been singing since the young age of 13. Even now at the adult age of 18, Rebecca hasn’t stopped learning and discovering more about her sound. Mid last year, Ms. James decided to scrap the EP she was planning on releasing as she knew the sound wasn’t her own. A year later, Rebecca is signed with record label SoundBox and is currently working on the new, more Rebeccaish EP that will be released later in the year. Planning to silence the crowd with her piercing voice, Rebecca will also be taking the stage this Sunday.
Listen to Rebecca here:

Also to take the stage. the contemporary music learner, Louise Smith and fashion fanatic Holly Violet!

The Festivals You Must Go To This Summer!

Every year the summer is jam packed with music festivals, and when picking where to go there’s so much to consider.. “How much will i have to spend? How far will i have to travel? Do i have to put up a tent?” And of course “Who’s performing?!”
We’ve listed out the best looking festivals to hit this summer highlighting the pros and cons for you!

The Parklife Weekender

Parklife-Weekender-2014 When: 7th – 8th June 2014
 Where: Heaton Park, Manchester

Pros: The line up is IMPRESSIVE. From Snoop Dogg to   Rudimental. You’ll definitely be  dancing all weekend!
Cons: Local accommodation has gone pretty fast, so      expect to pay more than you  expected for a hotel.

Wireless Festival

WRL_180214_2

When: 4th, 5th & 6th
Where: Finsbury Park & Birmingham Perry Park

Pros: Finsbury Park is a nice new location which is easy to get  to. Since the park is smaller then the  Olympic site that was    used last year – there won’t be any 10 minute walks to the next  stage!
 Cons: None so far!

Bestival

Bestival Latest Banner 600 When: 4th – 7th September
Where: Robin Hill Country Park, Isle of Wight

Pros: OUTKAST! With it being their 20th anniversary  as duo, their performance is set to me     amazinggg!
Cons: The location can be quite awkward  to get back from. Leave the festival as early as  possible to avoid being stuck on the Isle of Wight for 3 hours!

Glastonbury

Glastonbury haven’t actually released a line up yet, but you can get an idea of what to expect from last years. The 2014 line up will be released closer to the festival date.

PosterPostFinal11-959 When: 25th – 29th June
 Where: Worthy Farm, Pilton
Pros: It’s Glastonbury. Need we say more?
