It’s Official, we only have 115 days until the end of the year. We have quickly moved into September, the Autumn season. So, the BassBuds team thought they would provide you with a great playlist for the week. Jahmene – Down For Love – <New Release>

Jahmene is definitely BACK! With this gospel ballad, Jahmene shows he hasn’t lost his spark since being out of the spotlight. The chorus resonates with the main message of the song which is to ‘fight for love’ possibly when the going gets tough. Jahmene rose to fame when he came 2nd to James Arthur on X-Factor, 2012. His first UK number one, Love Never Fails, another ballad was also an success for the 24 year old. We expect to see much more from Jahmene towards the end of the year. Yes, Vocals…..COME THROUGH!!



 Kwabs – Lay Back

Two words – British Gem! Kwabs has been in and out of the limlight for over 4 years and never fails to disappoint.  Lay Back is from his debut album Love & War which is out next week. Kwabs rolls with a dedicated band to produce these fulfilling hits. Kwabs will be touring a few European countries including Berlin & Munich in November. . Something you didn’t know about the 25 yr old, his song ‘Walk’ was used in the soundtrack of EA‘s video game FIFA 15



Dead Weather – Treat Me Like Your Mother

The rock supergroup featuring Jack White (formerly known as the front man) of The White Stripes, Alison Mosshart from the Kills & Dean Fertita from Queens of the Stone Age. Their first live performance together was in 2009. A surprising fact that we all didn’t know is Jack White is a co-owner of Jay Z’s streaming service. The song reached to number 8 in the US singles chart from their first album HoreHound. If you’re a rock head, check out their new song, ‘I Feel Love’ released on Tidal.
